The World Cup Tour dates have been officially announced for the 2018 series.
The tour kicks off in Europe at the end of March with a new venue; St Quentin en Yvelines near Versailles in France. SQY will host round 1 and 2 of the tour over Easter weekend March 31st / April 1st.
A round of the French Cup will also be taking place over the World Cup weekend with the final taking place on Monday 2nd April.
We stay in Europe for the next rounds with the Sports Centre Papendal, the Netherlands, hosting rounds 3 and 4 before the circus heads over the border to Circuit Zolder in Belgium for rounds 5 and 6.
These two events are only in their second year as back-to-back events but it already feels like a classic combination with the differing style of tracks being ridden over consequetive weekends at the beginning of May.
The World Cup Tour then stops for an early World Championships taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan, at the beginning of June. The Challenge classes run 5th – 7th and Championships on 8th/9th.
Then it’s back to the World Cup Tour and down to South America for the final stop, and last two rounds, which take place in Santiago del Estero in Argentina at the end of September.
